When I hear Shirin speak, I am encapsulated by her level of resilience and strength. She is one of those rare speakers that can connect with her audience through her heart-centered genuine storytelling abilities. I met Shirin in a speaking competition and invited her to speak at one of my Diversity & Inclusion workshops. She did a fabulous job – the audience was moved by her ability to overcome adversity.
I personally have gained clarity simply by speaking with Shirin as she offers strategic objectives in acceptance and reclaiming your life. It’s no surprise why her storytelling abilities are so strong onstage as Shirin is also a talented and passionate writer. I have optimistic predictions for her career trajectory – she is judicious with being a powerful female entrepreneur and inspiring others. Shirin is an incredible leader and is a great woman of integrity, not only with entrepreneurship, but also with an obvious love for her family and friends.

The moment Shirin stepped out on stage I knew I was in for something special. Her story captivated the whole audience, drew us in emotionally and taught us something about her world, which so many of us will never experience. I really felt I was right there with her, every step of her journey - a universal message we all need to hear.
As a professional speaker who teaches others how to speak and share their Soul Story, I know the "it" factor when I hear it.
Shirin is compelling, creative, funny, inspiring and just so damn good!

I love Shirin because of how honest she was in the delivery of her story. She captivated me as she described each moment. Shirin is one of the most humble individuals I know. She has a great ability and skill of being able to take ideas and break them down into very simple thoughts that everyone can relate to. She is a wonderful speaker because she's relatable. When Shirin gets up on stage, she has a wonderful presence.

It is with much delight that I attended the CRA Lunch and Learn Session and I found your story inspiring. You made a great intro by creating an interaction with your audience by asking who like or watch Bollywood movie. This automatically created the feeling; be prepared to hear some drama and as in many movies you will hear a happy ending. In your case, it was an astonishing ending. You projected the image of the movie and for those who may not be familiar with the movie, you provided a small description of the movie to ensure that everybody in the room was on the same line and understood what was your journey. Awesome!

Your journey was segmented in multiple sections and I felt the pains and obstacles faced. With the help of PowerPoint, where specific images were used, I was able to picture, visualize each scene and stages of your life. I felt as if I was literally in a movie. Life was hard on you once, but still you didn’t lose hope. You capitalized on your strength, on things you do well, like going back to school to rebuild yourself. Life came back a second, but still you didn’t let the flame of hope vanish. You came back even stronger and wrote a whole new page of your life. Like you said; “You are the author of your own life”.

You used a good pace throughout the story and you hooked your audience from the beginning to the end. There are definitely a lot of lessons to retain from your story and each and everyone will draw their own conclusions.
